Our Meeting has been thinking about our diminished size and what to do about it for some time. We’ve gotten started on strategically examining what the future holds and this page contains a summary of what we’ve been up to.

In August of 2025, we dedicated one of our Spiritual Exploration Groups (SEGs) to the topic of Facing the Future, Together. This SEG event was a real success—people shared openly, and many thoughtful ideas emerged. We agreed to dedicate the September SEG to the topic of our Meeting’s future.

We planned on meeting again in January and then again the 3rd Sunday in February but got snowed out both times. (Thinking it was important to have a hybrid meeting so some of us could meet ace-to-face, we did not take the zoom-only route.) In the lead up to this meeting, some of us learned of Emily Provance’s Life Cycle of Meetings and attended her Laying Down Meetings conversation circles.
