Please join us for the next Strategic Visioning session: Preparing Responsibly for Our Future.
Over the past year we have gathered several times to consider the future of Wrightstown Friends Meeting. Those conversations have been thoughtful, candid, and grounded in our shared commitment to listen together for the Spirit’s guidance.

This session will continue our discernment by exploring three broad questions:
How do we faithfully assess the health of our Meeting?
What futures are open to us?
How do we prepare responsibly for whatever future opens before us?
These are not abstract questions. They arise from our experience as a Meeting and from our desire to respond faithfully to the realities before us. Our purpose is not to predict the future or to advocate for any particular outcome. Rather, it is to deepen our understanding of who we are as a Meeting, what gifts we continue to carry, and what faithfulness may require of us in the years ahead.
Among the queries we hope to consider are:
What does spiritual vitality look like among us?
How do we recognize both our gifts and our limitations?
How are we called to care for one another during times of significant change?
What steps are involved in transitioning?The Clerks Team would like to share our perspectives and serious concerns on the viability of the Meeting and how the trajectory could look going forward. Emily talks about some Meetings being ready to lay themselves down. We are not at this point—yet. But it is a possible trajectory, and it seems wise to have this discussion now while we are still both viable and vital.
As part of this preparation, the Clerks Team has been reviewing resources from Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and other Friends on evaluating the health of a meeting and, when necessary, preparing faithfully for significant transitions. Those materials remind us that discernment includes not only hope and possibility, but also honesty, compassion, and care for one another.
Whether you have attended every Strategic Visioning session or this would be your first, your voice and your listening presence are important. We hope you will join us as we continue seeking together how Truth prospers among us.

The Spiritual Exploration Group meets at 8:30 on the third Sunday in the Social Hall before Meeting for Worship.
SEG provides an opportunity for everyone to share their thoughts and feelings on a variety of spiritually related topics. I has the added benefit that we can hear each other's ideas outside the Silence of Meeting.
