The Bucks County Foodshed Alliance and Delaware Valley University are excited to host a guest presentation featuring the renowned entomologist and New York Times bestselling author, Doug Tallamy. Dr. Tallamy is a professor of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware. The co-founder of Homegrown National Park has penned numerous books, including his latest, New York Times bestseller, Nature’s Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation That Starts in Your Yard. This event is cosponsored by the Doylestown Township Environmental Advisory Council.
On Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 6pm the community will gather at Delaware Valley University Life Sciences Building Auditorium to hear Dr. Tallamy present, “Nature’s Best Hope,” where he will discuss simple steps that each of us can- and must- take to reverse declining biodiversity, pollinators and seed dispersers. A reception before and after the presentation will feature information tables of partnering organizations and refreshments from Bucks County farms. Dr. Tallamy will also be available for book signings.
